After listening to several presentations by other realtors we felt that Jim had the best approach and he also got us a sale price well over what the other agents were suggesting we initially list at. He followed up on each phase and always kept us informed. Jim Ruddy did an excellent job for me. He helped me find my dream home. He stuck with me through the whole process and was very into attentive to my needs. We made two or three different trips to look at a variety of houses across several towns. Jim showed us many different houses several days in a row each trip.Since we are from another state we were unfamiliar with some of the different towns and neighborhoods. Jim was able to help us find a nice home in a nice neighborhood to be near my aunt.As a side note buying a house and doing the closing a week before Christmas takes a little bit of extra work on everyone's part.On the day of the closing Jim met us at the house so we could have one more walk through and went to the closing company with us. All this happened within thirty days. Jim was also kind gave us a gift card along with several lovely new address cards. This makes it much easier when you are from out of town. Bottom line Jim and his team guided us through the process of buying a good home in Florida so we could be nearer my aunt.

I don't think I can do Jim Ruddy justice in the space provided.....I haven't had the opportunity to sell many homes in my lifetime and certainly not as an absentee owner. Jim made this entire process seamless....and for anyone who has sold a home you know that there is no higher praise! Jim is very well-known and respected in the real estate business and I feel very fortunate that the positive word of mouth about Jim found it's way to me. From the moment I signed a contract with Jim Ruddy we were a team and he did an excellent job keeping me in the loop and informed as to what was going on with the home. He stepped up to the plate and handled tasks that usually don't fall under the duties of a selling agent but as an absentee owner I knew he had my best interest at heart. Both Maggie and Jim were great. They were there for us every step of the way and were super knowledgeable about things to look out for as we walked through properties that we would have never thought of. From our very first official meeting we were impressed. Originally we met at an open house and told them a little about ourselves and our family but we connected and knew that we would call them back when we got serious which happened to be about 6 months later. When we set the appointment up we were impressed because they had taken specific notes and kept a file on us even though they didn't know if we would ever call them. They were there every step of the way and would recommend them to anyone.
