Only one realtor was considered when we decided to put our home on the market. That was Jim Ruddy and his Watson Realty team. They sold our previous home in record time and did not disappoint this time. The sale of homes in our community had slowed and we hadconcerns about putting it on the market. Jim alleviated those concerns and gotthe job done. When we need a realtor again it will be Jim Ruddy and his Watson Realty team.

I don't think I can do Jim Ruddy justice in the space provided.....I haven't had the opportunity to sell many homes in my lifetime and certainly not as an absentee owner. Jim made this entire process seamless....and for anyone who has sold a home you know that there is no higher praise! Jim is very well-known and respected in the real estate business and I feel very fortunate that the positive word of mouth about Jim found it's way to me. From the moment I signed a contract with Jim Ruddy we were a team and he did an excellent job keeping me in the loop and informed as to what was going on with the home. He stepped up to the plate and handled tasks that usually don't fall under the duties of a selling agent but as an absentee owner I knew he had my best interest at heart. Jim is a gem....rare and quite valuable!!

Both Maggie and Jim were great. They were there for us every step of the way and were super knowledgeable about things to look out for as we walked through properties that we would have never thought of. From our very first official meeting we were impressed. Originally we met at an open house and told them a little about ourselves and our family but we connected and knew that we would call them back when we got serious which happened to be about 6 months later. When we set the appointment up we were impressed because they had taken specific notes and kept a file on us even though they didn't know if we would ever call them. They were there every step of the way and would recommend them to anyone.

It is hard to articulate in words how exemplary Jim's service was. He went above and beyond in every aspect of both selling our home and helping us find and buy our forever home. Our home was under contract 2 days after listing with 2 offers (one full price). When it was time to buy Jim truly had OUR best interests at heart. He was more focused on answering our questions giving us good advice and finding a home that met our needs than he was on closing a deal. He truly has the heart of a teacher and explained the process to us every step of the way with so much patience and care. He handled everything - we literally did not need to worry about anything. The Ruddy team main leader was Maggie Patek and she helped me evaluate a number of possible homes and once I settled on a New Townhouse She was there to evaluate the Builders contract and counseled me on what to be cautious of signing. She also negotiated with the builder to protect ALL the money I had to put down from the very beginning to ensure I could get it back if things went poorly in the economy/ housing market. The team was there for me every step of the way and the entire time of the inspection and follow-up to confirm the repairs were done. They were also present for my closing and walked me through different fees the Title Company had presented to me to confirm they where all correct according to my contract. It was my first home purchase and Maggie and her team gave me confidence the entire way. I would recommend Maggie to any of my friends when they decide to buy or sell a home!
